We value candidates who, in addition to a solid academic background, stand out for their analytical ability, rigor, sense of responsibility in meeting objectives and/or their achievements in areas beyond the professional.

In particular, what catches our attention is:

  • Analytical ability and a strong academic record.
  • A drive for excellence and high ethical and professional standards.
  • Diligence and commitment demonstrated in previous work experience. Specifically, professionals committed to their employers, with long-lasting past collaborations that show this commitment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Professional ambition and the dual ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn and keep developing within the company.
  • A sense of social commitment, athletes with competitive experience and/or involvement in musical projects or groups of various kinds.

If these values resonate with you, we want to meet you!

What will you do?

We are looking for someone who wants to see real results in our clients' processes. Your contribution will be tangible from day one, combining development, quality and deployment, always with the support of the senior team. These will be your key activities:

  • You will be part of the operations team that delivers digital transformation projects for our clients, with a focus on data engineering.
  • You will take part in designing, developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming and preparing data from multiple sources (Odoo, databases and APIs).
  • You will work with Python and SQL to model, transform and optimize data, enabling analytics, reporting and business use cases.
  • You will build and operate pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF), integrating processes in cloud environments (mainly Azure).
  • You will help load and model data in Snowflake, contributing to analytical schemas and good performance/cost practices.
  • You will support BI initiatives by preparing datasets and helping build dashboards in Power BI.
  • You will document developments and processes, and take part in quality practices (basic testing, code reviews, team standards).

Responsibilities
Management

  • Support project planning, execution and monitoring, reporting on progress, risks and dependencies.
  • Document processes, requirements and deliverables in collaboration with technical and functional teams.
  • Interact with clients (internal/external) to understand data needs, manage expectations and present progress with the team's support.
  • Take part in working sessions to identify opportunities for improvement and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to PR reviews and the adoption of good practices (code style, basic security and internal standards).

Data Engineer

  • Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for ingestion and transformation using ADF, SQL and Python.
  • Implement loads and transformations into Snowflake, applying good modeling practices (schemas, partitioning/clustering where applicable, incremental loads).
  • Define and maintain data models geared toward analytics and visualization (e.g., a “staging / core / marts” approach).
  • Ensure data quality (validations, duplicate control, consistency and traceability).
  • Optimize queries and processes (performance, cloud costs and maintainability).

Development or Integration

  • Implement data extraction processes from relational databases such as Oracle, DB2 and PostgreSQL, ensuring integrity and performance.
  • Develop SFTP-based integrations for file ingestion (CSV, JSON, Parquet or other structured formats).
  • Build and maintain Python and SQL scripts and components for normalizing, transforming and enriching data before it is loaded.
  • Orchestrate data loading into Snowflake, helping define schemas, tables and incremental load processes.
  • Take part in versioning and deploying integrations and pipelines using Git (branches, pull requests, code reviews).
  • Occasionally help with technical tasks in the Odoo ecosystem related to data extraction and integration, without taking on advanced architecture responsibilities.

BI and Analytics

  • Building ETLs in SQL or Python (XML-RPC, REST or similar APIs) on SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Parquet.
  • Building dashboards in PowerBI and occasionally in Microstrategy or Qlik.
  • Prompting AIs via terminal or API to look up information, write code, review texts and, should the project require it, automate complex processes (document parsing, image classification, extracting insights from datasets, etc.).

Cybersecurity

  • Server monitoring, SOC service and incident resolution.
  • Pentesting and security audits.
  • Installation of a security ecosystem based on Office Protect, Bitdefender and LastPass.

Six Months

You will have gained the experience needed to carry out your role with confidence, and with less and less supervision.

You will have a meeting with management to share your impressions and whether our project meets your expectations.

  • Benefits in Kind: the option of receiving part of your pay in kind (meal vouchers, childcare, health insurance and/or training).
  • Community: we try to organize all kinds of team building and networking activities, from attending events to heading out to the mountains for a hike, by way of LAN parties and the like.

Everyone arranges their working day within the 8:00 to 20:00 window to complete their 40 weekly hours as they see fit, always trying to meet the needs of the project and the client. We have an ERP (Odoo) where we log our hours to keep detailed track of the effort spent so that we can bill it to our clients.

About Us

Who are we?

We are a technology consultancy incorporated in Spain in 2021. We were founded in the United Kingdom (London) under the brand Digital Branding Ltd in 2015. Because of our size, we fall into the category known as boutique consultancies.

Our value proposition is based on a comprehensive digitalization offering that covers everything from development through to go-live and subsequent maintenance.

We develop digital solutions that bring our clients' ideas and ambitions to life, so that as many people as possible can enjoy their services. We cover critical areas of digitalization such as Design (UI&UX), Marketing and Communication, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Architecture, Cybersecurity and Compliance.

We work for clients such as El Corte Inglés, Iberdrola, Barter Energy and the Global Sports Innovation Center Powered by Microsoft. You can see more in our case studies.

We are also patrons of the initiative Nuestras Causas and producers of the show Profesionales Excepcionales hosted by our chairman Javier Pascual.

You can learn more about us and what we do in the press releases section of our website.

Adding Value

Drive for Excellence and Results Orientation

We offer high-quality solutions and work so that every euro our clients invest turns into value for their firm. We take responsibility for the full project life cycle, operating on the principles of efficiency and effectiveness, beginning with the end in mind and seeking synergies and win-win strategies.

Adaptability

Flexibility, Empathy and Transparency

Our sector and our clients' needs are constantly changing. We are aware of these needs, and considerate and understanding toward them. We are willing to help, and we do so by being flexible about changes to initial requirements, deadlines and costs.

How do we work?

Our working philosophy is agile and project-oriented. Odoo is our CORE system (ERP, CRM, HCM, PPM, CMS and DMS), which we complement with the Microsoft ecosystem for email, office software and communication.

In terms of governance, we plan on a weekly basis and hold dailies and weeklies so that progress is coordinated and we can help each other with any blockers that arise. We send follow-up minutes to clients so they can keep track of the project's progress, and we keep unit cost control for each project. To do so, we log our hours against the different projects we work on.

To make asynchronous work easier with such diverse teams, you will share your experience as explicit knowledge by creating and/or updating documentation and procedures. That way, the rest of the team can consult it, update it and benefit from it.

You will be in continuous training, so if you come across something you lack the qualifications or experience for, you will have the opportunity to train in it.

The standard dress code is business casual, which for men means wearing a shirt, long pants and closed shoes, and for women a formal, understated equivalent, avoiding sportswear or overly casual clothing.

Our code of ethics governs how we behave both within the company and in our dealings with clients, suppliers and the communities where you are present on the company's behalf.

Where do we work?

Our profession demands a close relationship with our clients, so most of our consultants visit them or work some days at the client's own offices. In addition, we try to get together at least three times a week at our offices.
