Dashboards that help you decide
We design KPI dashboards in Power BI on top of a well-built data model: measures that maintain themselves, clear reports and controlled access. So you can make faster, better-informed decisions.
The challenge
Having Power BI installed isn't enough
What usually goes wrong in a business intelligence project, and how we avoid it.
The report rebuilt every month
We connect your sources and transform them with Power Query, with no manual formulas: the data refreshes on its own.
Every department, its own number
When nobody trusts the data, meetings turn into debates about which number is right and decisions come down to gut feeling. We define measures once, in DAX and on a shared model, so everyone looks at the same figure.
Lots of charts, few decisions
We start with the key indicators and design clear reports built around the decision they need to support.
Modeling mistakes that hold you back
Modeling before interface: getting the decisions right from the start avoids the mistakes that later stall any progress.
What we do
Business intelligence, end to end
From defining the indicators to publishing the report.
KPI definition
We agree with you which indicators matter, how they're calculated and who they serve.
Data model
A star schema, with fact and dimension tables, built for your business and integrating your different sources.
Connection and transformation
We connect your sources, from your ERP to spreadsheets or your data platform, in Import or DirectQuery mode, and automate their transformation with Power Query.
DAX measures
Measures that maintain themselves, with no constant intervention.
KPI dashboards
Clear reports for decision-making, from senior management to each department.
Secure publishing
We publish and share in Power BI Service with sound security and access control: each person sees what's relevant to them.
How we work
Model first, charts second
The same methodology we teach at The Singular Academy.
What you need to decide
We start from the decisions you need to make and the indicators that measure them.
Model with sound judgment
We structure the data before opening the report canvas.
Automate
Connections and transformations that refresh themselves: nobody copies and pastes.
Publish and train
We publish with access control and, if you need it, train your team so the dashboard becomes theirs.
A real example
A Power BI dashboard you can open today
The Observatorio de Bienestar (“Wellbeing Observatory”) dashboard is built in Power BI and has a public demo. Observatorio de Bienestar is part of Observatorio 360º, the family of observatories from Singular Ventures, and we implement it.

Data and Snowflake
If your data is spread across many systems, the first step is to bring it together in a data platform that feeds every report.
Power BI 101 at The Singular Academy
Five hours of in-person training in Madrid, in Spanish, to learn the fundamentals of data modeling. Taught by Carlos Pascual Adell, CEO of Singular Beacon.
We train
A report that brings together, visually, the key indicators you use to run your business or your department, and that updates without manual work.
It's Microsoft's data analytics tool: it brings together data from many sources, produces dynamic, interactive reports, works for technical and non-technical users alike, includes security and compliance features, and connects with advanced analytics and machine learning.
No: we work with Power BI and with Board. Power BI is the tool we use to build KPI dashboards; on projects such as the one with El Corte Inglés we've also used Board and, as the data platform, Snowflake.
Yes. We start by reviewing the data model before the charts: a well-built model makes the numbers add up and keeps the reports running on their own.
In Power BI Service, with sound security and access control: each person sees only what's relevant to them.
It depends on who builds the reports, who shares them and who only views them. Creating, collaborating and sharing require a paid per-user license such as Power BI Pro. We'll help you choose the one that fits.
Yes, at The Singular Academy: Power BI 101 is five hours of in-person training in Madrid, in groups of ten people at most, on fundamentals and data modeling. It's taught in Spanish.
If you're an SME, basic and advanced data analytics advisory is one of the services covered by Kit Consulting, a Spanish government grant program. Its page sets out the requirements.
