Digital redesign and a scalable voting system for a social impact initiative
20–30%
Estimated increase in participation

Challenge

The initiative was seeing steady growth in visibility and participation, which opened the door to refreshing its digital presence and improving engagement with an ever-larger community. The goals were to update the interface, streamline content management, and enable a voting system that could bring in public participation without compromising performance. A solution was also needed to support the day-to-day running of the profile review service, including invoicing and tracking.

The client's ambition was to strengthen transparency, extend the reach of the ranking, and offer a modern, participatory user experience.

Solution

The project was tackled jointly with the Las TOP 100 graphic design team, combining visual design and digital architecture on a new content management system. A complete online registration system was developed to centralize interaction between users and candidates.

The voting system was built ad hoc, with control and performance mechanisms, and deployed in a scalable cloud environment (AWS) to absorb the traffic peaks of the public voting phases.

A module was also integrated to manage and invoice the profile review service, simplifying internal operations and ensuring proper traceability.

Certain technical details have been adapted or omitted to comply with NDAs and information security policies.

Results

  • A new web platform with a significantly clearer, more intuitive user experience.
  • A robust, scalable public voting system able to handle high traffic peaks with no impact on performance.
  • An estimated 20–30% increase in participation thanks to the new online registration and the improved voting process.
  • Streamlined internal management through the digitalization of the profile review and invoicing process.
  • Greater visibility and a more professional initiative, supporting its consolidation as a national benchmark in equality and women's leadership.
